what can i say? the story was heart-wrenching and touching all at once. it's good how you gave us the feel of rose and hugo without them even making an appearance. and poor ron and hermione, a big family would have been nice but i guess there's a reason for everything. great work. and i love that hugo loves spiders...

Author's Response: Oh wow! I can't believe I haven't responded to this! Thanks so much for your kind words! I really do appreciate it! Ron and Hermione still have many years for their family. She was only 37/38 at the time of the epilogue...

This was adorable. I have to admit, I was incredibly nervous when Ron came in on Hermione crying... I thought that my Rosie and Hugo had died! AAH. Anyway, Great job!

Author's Response: No! No! It's completely canon (or thats what I'm aiming for). So they are all safe until Rosie goes to school :P Thanks for the review.

Such a bittersweet story! The obvious love between these two is so evident in your phrasing, and the tragedy they've shared so poignant... You've done a wonderful job telling such a heart-wrenching tale. You can't but shed a tear and wish our favorite couple all our condolences. Well done!

Author's Response: Thanks so much. You've made me blush. An inadvertently rhyme as well. I was aiming for bittersweet, so yay!

This was so good in that make your heart ache type of way. I loved the idea for the story overall, and a million little details that were sprinkled in. The fact that they went to Muggle school before starting Hogwarts, Ginny picking them up from said school (that just gave it a very real life feel to it), Ron being scared out of his mind about coming home to an "empty" house, Hugo's passion for multi-eyed creatures and CHUDLEY (hahaha), and loved loved the fact that you incorporated why they only have 2 children and they yes they did want a large family. AWESOME JOB!! Made me want to tear up a bit....

Author's Response: Oh wow. Thank you so much! I find that a lot of my fics are dialogue or actions relating to the dialogue and I really wanted something different this time. I really wanted to stretch my comfort zone a bit. I'm thrilled you liked it. I had to put the spider in there. It opens up a world of possibilities for later fics in the series. Thanks so much for your kind words.

This was cute! Is there going to be more?

Author's Response: This a part of the Stalemate series; the third part to be precise. If you want a bit more of married Ron and Hermione the the first two are Stalemate and The Cannon's New Seeker. I will be writing more in this series though, but it won't be for a couple of weeks while I get the rest of my final assessment for uni out of the way. It's about Rose's first crush though. I know that much.

Poor Ron and Hermione!! The thought of them trying for all those years and then losing a baby was so heart-breaking!! And I loved the tension of the beginning of the chapter, when we're following Ron through the house, not knowing what was happening.

Author's Response: Thankyou my most wonderful beta. I would love to think that they had a relatively easy 19 years, but its not as fun that way :) As for me, I actually can't wait to see your scenario with Ron and Hermione and Rose...and the post no charm talk...I'm on the edge of my seat.

Author's Response: Thanks so much Meg. The first two stories in this series are called Stalemate and The Cannon's New Seeker and are both about Ron, Hermione and Rose and Hugo.
