Sniff.
(I am taking this as an AU, by your author's note...I get confused easily, you see. I'm not good at accepting realities that are not my own.)
I love your eloquent Harry--because he is, in his own, not entirely over-intellectual way. he is hard to write, because he is the narrator in so many ways, and you nailed him perfectly. Great :)
Author's Response: It's true... Harry is an odd balance of incredible insight and pure stupidity (upon occasion). I'm really glad I managed to capture him for you. :) |

I'm a tad bit confused.. Did Neville kill Voldemort, or did he sacrifice himself so that Harry could kill Voldemort? A little bit confused there..

I based this on a theory that I had a looong time ago, which was very complicated, but centered around Neville killing Voldemort. That theory has since been squooshed, but I still wanted to write a fanfic about it. I love to write fanfics where there is a bit (or a lot!) of ambiguity, so beware if you decide to read any of my other works. Thank you for reading! |

A Neville-centric story! Ohhhh ... I need more tissues. This was sweet, but so very sad, because I love Neville, and I'm very very glad that you made him the hero he always was born to be.
The ending was beautiful, too, and very apt.
What also struck me was the bit when nobody flinched at Voldemort's name. It's about time! :)
