Just a quick note about some changes to SU.

First:  We have added donor badges that users can show on their profile page.  This option has been turned off by default so those who do not wish to show their donation status to SU don't have to do anything, if you wish to show your donot status simply edit your Personal Preferences and place a check in the "Show Donor Badge Publicly" check box.

Second:  Some small ads will soon be displayed on SU.  Don't worry, these won't be the popup/take over the entire page screen, as a matter of fact these ads will only show up on the main home page.  At this point they will be text ads only and because beggars can't be choosers they may not be an exact fit for the content of SU, however rest assured that we will not allow any ads of objectionable nature.  Displaying ads has become necessary due to the cost of running the server, low donation amounts, but mostly because of unemployment.

As always, we are constantly working to bring new features to SU, so with the addition of ads to SU our next major feature will be something of a paid membership system designed so that any donor who donates (or has donated) over a certain amount will have all Ads hidden automatically.  The specifics haven't been worked out yet, and since the Ads are text only (for at least another 2 months) there won't be a major push to implement this feature.

Just wanted to let everyone know that we had an issue earlier today with some chapters not working correctly, nor was the Contact form.  Those are now fixed and working properly and we are exploring the rest of the site for any other places these problems may be showing up.

Good Afternoon everyone!

I've been made aware of some problems recently where some users could not log out, sometimes not log in and sometimes not be able to view updates to stories in the Restricted Section.

The problem seems to only have afftected IE7/8 users, so Firefox, Safari, Opera users probably haven't noticed any problems.

If you are experiencing problems of bot being able to log in/out or keep getting the log in screen for a story in the Restricted Section (or MA/RA rated) and have been granted RS access please do the following:

Press and hold the shift AND ctrl key on your keyboard and then click the Refresh button (located at the end of the address bar in IE7/8) and then when the page has completely reloaded continue your browsing on SU.

Dear Users,

Just a quick note that SU has added a new theme.  You can check it out by logging in, clicking on "My Account", then "Edit Personal Information" and finally changing the skin to "new default".

A quick announcement to let everyone know that the search page now has paging so you can get more than 50 results.  We apologize for this taking so long, it finally hit the programmer today that paging, while not the best solution for him, was the best solution for immediate use.

After having been apprised of the situation with spam reviews we have taken action.  Unfortunately with the lack of time to immediately write code to prevent those reviews from being submitted I have taken the second best option: added code to report those reviews.

For those logged in please feel free to report any questionable reviews via the "Report this review" link that now shows up on the reviews page and the Wizengamot will evaluate those reviews and take the appropriate action.

Hi Everyone!

Just a quick note to let you know that there are several skins that we will be eliminating from the site. This is so that we can make room for new ones. I wish we could keep them all, but alas... the ones that are in use least must go.

If you are using any of the skins listed below, you have two weeks to change them or we will be changing them for you.

Our apologies to everyone.  The server SU runs on underwent some basic updates last evening and a mis-configuration occurred.

The configuration has been fixed and everything is back to normal operations.

Due to an insufficient number of active Beta Readers and Administrative Staff, SimplyUndeniable.com will, for the immediate future, no longer accept stories that require a beta reader.  We encourage all of our authors who do not currently have a beta reader to seek one out.  If you have a beta reader through SU, please be sure to either work with them before submitting your story or mention that they are your existing beta in the chapter summary when submitting your story.

We thank you for your cooperation, and we are sorry for letting our authors and readers down in this manner.  However, I promise that as soon as we reach the point of having our current queue of stories waiting on a beta under control and a sufficient number of betas to maintain that control we will once again start taking submissions requesting a beta reader.
